To submit a car request or use certain features of the platform, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may register as a buyer (individual seeking a vehicle) or as a dealer (business representing a dealership).
Users may submit vehicle requests through the platform describing their desired vehicle, location, and contact preferences. Carviano attempts to match these requests against dealer listings in its database and, if no direct match is found, may search external listings as a fallback. Dealers may view open requests and claim them. Once claimed, the dealer is responsible for contacting the user through the contact method the user specified. Carviano acts solely as a platform connecting users and dealers and is not a party to any transaction or communication between them.
Carviano does not guarantee that any dealer will respond to a request, that a requested vehicle is available, or that any listing or fallback result is accurate or current. Vehicle availability, pricing, and specifications are determined entirely by dealers and external listing sources. Carviano expressly disclaims any liability arising from failed or delayed responses, unavailable vehicles, or inaccurate listing information.
Dealers are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any vehicle listings they submit or manage through the platform. Carviano does not verify, endorse, or warrant any dealer listing, including but not limited to vehicle condition, price, mileage, specifications, or availability. Dealers agree to maintain accurate and up-to-date listings and to honor any claims made therein.
You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of the platform. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: submitting false or misleading requests, attempting to circumvent the claim system, harvesting user or dealer data, introducing malware or harmful code, and interfering with the platform’s operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Carviano and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the platform. This includes, without limitation, any damages resulting from failed dealer responses, inaccurate listings, loss of data, or interruption of service. The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
